Phonics Monster: Book 5 (Special Sounds)

Phonics Monster – Book 5 introduces advanced phonics “special sounds” that often must be memorized because they do not always follow phonics “rules” (war/wor, tion, ar/er/ir/or/ur, etc.). Each new sound is introduced with an extensive word list and several sentences, followed by tongue twisters, speed-reading exercises, games, stories, and review worksheets. There are several reading passages allowing students to practice and review the sounds that they have learned.
