• I dropped my cell phone and it stopped working. Therefore, I need to either buy a new phone or borrow yours.
• The pitcher threw the ball at the batter's head. As a result, he was thrown out of the game.
• The weather is nice in the summer, but it rains almost every day. Thus, spring is my favorite season.
• I used to waste all of my time watching TV shows that I didn't even like. For this reason, I decided to give away my TV, so that I might start getting more work done.
