Introduction to Present Continuous Tense

 
This ESL grammar worksheet introduces students to the present continuous tense (present progressive tense), which is used to talk about "right now". In this worksheet, students practice correcting the errors in several present continuous sentences.

Present Continuous Tense (1)

 

We use the Present Continuous Tense to talk about things that are happening right now.

 

To talk about right now, you have to use a “Be verb” (am, is, are) and a verb+ing:
